Title: System Restore vanishes

Has anyone noticed if their manual created system restore points remain when set-up.Mines vanish after 24 hours.I had the same problem on the wifes Vista laptop,but I created a 5gb space for it.I did the same for the 7rc,but I did it via dos and I wouldnt have thought this laptop being a dual boot with XP would be causing the problem.

Dual boot is possibly the problem.
XP and Vista always loses it's restore points after going from one OS to the other, so I'm assuming it's the same with Windows7.
