Hi
I have installed Foxit reader . Since then whenever I try to link to a pdf file I get an error . Sometimes it locks Firefox
Please see attachment .
Is there anything to sort this out or do I have to go back to Abode :(

Have you associated .pdf files to open with Foxit Reader?
If problems persist, use a system restore point prior to installing Foxit Reader.
Download Foxit Reader again, just in case the original was corrupt, then install and associate with .pdf files if not done automatically.

Let us know how it goes.

Hi
It works ok in IE and if I open a PDF file on my machine . so the association is OK ?
quote Your attachment was a bit small to view accurately.
did you click on it . It should be OK to see then.
I cannot use a restore point .just installed SP" for vista.
so if all else fails I will have to uninstall foxit . But it seems odd that it works with IE.

Your .jpg error was merely a window with an exclamation mark in a yellow triangle.
If you are using Vista, this may be of interest.

Hi exo
Thanks for the reply.
I used the link and tried one of the posts that should have sorted it , It didn't work . Another post had the answer but I couldn't follow it .However it mentioned the Foxit forum . I have just had a reply . The problem was that within FF Applications Foxit reader was NOT selected against Abode documents for some reason it was selected to "always ask".
Thanks for your help
regards Jeff :)
