Hi all,
I have just installed a CCTV camera overlooking our driveway.
It takes still JPGs on motion and I am wondering if there is any free software that will allow me to combine them into a video in Time lapse format?
Thanks in advance
Jamie

You could use Windows Movie Maker to do that.
And it's already on your PC.
From within WMM select "Import Folder"
That way it will import all the clips within the folder at once.
And "do not" select to use any "Transitions" or you will not get a very smooth movie.

You will also want to adjust the default duration for pictures in the movie (the default is 5 seconds!)
Go to Tools / Options and on the Advanced tab, change the picture duration to a suitable value, which will obviously depend upon the frame rate used by your CCTV.

Thanks both ;D
Will give it a try later on...

Glad to hear it's doing what you want it to do. (
Most Some people say they either don't like it, or can't get it to work)
Another small program I was playing around with last year was "i-Catcher Console v3.1.36" (3.24MB)
Although not a free program it also had a few nice features built in.
I did start a thread here on Kitz's site, it may also help.

Yes mines a wireless camera with a recorder unit recording onto SD cards.
Very reliable in fact. Motion detection is very effective and saves lots of storage space :) Something to keep an eye over the cars ;D
