Title: Best router for low SNR

Is the actiontec any good for holding onto a low snr.  not sure if i should get a net gear or ifthis actiontec will do

I don't know anything about the Actiontec routers. If possible could you borrow a netgear and see how it handles your line? Apart from that I can't really comment further.

Argos do have a 30-day refund policy you know.... ;)

Have you tried the 2 wire 2700, it is a very good router, especially on long lines.

I have a Speedtouch 536 and I'm on a long line and I have seen it hang on to 1db  :)
