Hi, I wanted to upgrade an older PCMCIA ‘b’ card for a ‘g’ and would like some recommendations please.
My wish list is as follows
1. Must have reliable wireless.
2. Must play ball with my WAP [DG834G v2, whose wireless chipset is a Broadcom (I think)]
3. Compatible with Intel chipsets (have Dell laptop)
4. Must not amend Msgina.dll (to MrvGinal.dll) and create login issues for me to correct.
5. Must not continuously ping, similarly to my WG511 v2 card which requires firewall access to Netgear CUv2 MFC application (and endlessly pings).
Any suggestions please…..
