Title: Java
Post by: UncleUB on January 08, 2009, 06:50:17 PM
When I have just done a speedtest @ thinkbroad,it requires Java to run the test.I have got the latest one installed, but I get a box open with the following message.

The application requires an earlier version of Java.Do you want to continue.

You then get two boxes, 'run' or 'cancel'

Then underneath it says,

The required version of Java 1.6.0 oem is not hte latest and may not contain the latest security updates.

I click 'run' and its fine.

I have re-installed java and on their website it says its working fine.
Could it be some sites are not geared up to the latest version

Have you tried using the alternative port 80 for that test?
