How to interpret your adsl Line Stats (http://www.kitz.co.uk/adsl/linestats.htm)

Page has had a bit of a major overhaul and  re-write* to pay more attention on the importance of SNR / SNR Margin / Target SNR



*just shocked myself to discover that page originally dates from before I had 2Mb so we're talking 2004 - even though it has had several minor amendments during that time  :o

I have just had a read and I have finally got my head around SNR and SNR Margin ;D

youre welcome.

btw anyone like the little drawing I did to illustrate SNR.  I was dead chuffed with how it actually came out as I wasnt sure at first how to illustrate it :lol:

That's brilliant . ;D.
would it presumptuous of me to mention that some(st330) (all?)modems do not register any power . Might be worth mentioning .
