Title: OpenDNS Privacy
Post by: Rahat on November 04, 2008, 11:37:42 PM
Hey, i did my own research guys but couldn't find any suitable answer, so can someone please help me out?

The problem is that i have o2 as my ISP and they have DNS problems and sometimes sites will not load. Well, i have now changed the dns settings to OpenDns, however i want to know if there is an option to disable private information from reaching them. I don't want them to have a log of the sites i go on...

It only took you three minutes from asking the question to finding the answer for yourself.

Very Good!

Most questions have an answer somewhere on the net, it is just a case of spending a little of your time finding them. Much better than having people tell you the answer because you will remember it longer if you have to exercise the old grey cells.

Interesting link Rahat, never really thought about OpenDNS privacy issues before. Why would they be interested in my personal rather boring browsing habits, after all?!

But it was good to read their positive response in the link you posted :)
