When I have 'replied' to a post this morning (games section) once I press 'post' I get a message saying 'database error' then it tells me to try again ... BUT when I check on the actual topic my post is there ?? just thought someone should know :)

Yes, you're right Kate. I expect Kitz will be on the case shortly.

has anyone got a cap of the actual error message please.
- trying to find out if its a problem with the actual database or if its anything to do with the SMF upgrade that I did yesterday
-
ok got one ty
let me try see if I can find out whats causing it.
-
Yeah I noticed it earlier, but it seems OK now. :)
-
test....
Still looking at this - have passed it over to my host.
-
One thing I've noticed is that I see the same error if I click on a member's name, which would normally take me to their profile.
[Edit] And having posted that, it went through with no error.
-
ok should now be fixed
-
Thanks Kitz .. :)

I got a bit distracted with the error message saying
Your forum's files are currently at version SMF 1.1.6, while your database is at version 1.1.2.
The above error might possibly go away if you execute the latest version of upgrade.php.
Having performed an upgrade to SMF 1.1.6 yesterday, at first I thought it was something to do with that and started looking at SMF... but it appears it wasnt.
Raised a ticket with my hosts and got this back 9 mins later
Hi Kitz,
Is it working again now?
We're just investigating what caused it -
it looks like someone was running backup or similar that filled up the
entirety of tmp.
Regards,
So theyve cleared what it was after I raised the ticket - but dont know atm what caused the tmp file to fill
Still keeping an eye on it.

The old story.
It wasn't broke, so lets try something.
