eke... its that time of year again.. :o
I'd like to wish the forum regs and visitors seasons greetings.
Thought I should make an effort and at least attempt to do something to make the site more festive.. so Ive just knocked up a new banner.
Oh and something amy said in another thread... one for you.

Sprouts, yummy yummy.
The best vegetable that has ever been produced and providing it's are cooked properly, brilliant. Most people tend to overcook them sending them into a squishy mush with no taste left.

Hiya,
I am moved to respond to OF's comment about squishy brussels sprouts. A recipe idea which I tried either last year or some time in the past is to boil the sprouts until they are nice and squidgy and then to add some cream and mash them up to make a puree. You can add a little nutmeg just to set them off nicely. Try it and you might like it, or else do them your own favourite way. I quite like them any way they come.

You can't beat fresh sprouts straight from the farm. Frozen sprouts are an abomination :-X.
I like most vegetables, does this make me a bad person?

Who wouldn't like veg of some sort?
I recon (on this subject) your only a bad person if you think it [veg] magically appears in the supermarket in the same fashion as shrink wrapped meat or ready meals.
