ViewSonic have always had a good reputation in the computer monitor market.

Those reviews look good as I've just ordered one of those monitors as my old one is severely outdated (1998) the big boxes  :P

I could not see on the site accessed by unkyUb's link what the delivery cost is, but that is the monitor that I bought a month or so back from Comet for £109.99 over the counter.

Nice monitor, and importantly for me it responded well to my monitor calibration gizmo.

That model is no longer shown on the Comet webbie,  :( , maybe it is an end of line clearance that everyone is engaging in.

Aha, ta, so price for price for a next day job compared to Comet, a fiver less if willing to wait a bit.

A very good price for a fairly decent monitor. My only gripe is it's narrow viewing angle, sit off to the side a bit and the colours seem to go weird but there's just me sitting in front so no great problem for me, but if you have a cluster of people sitting round it would be an issue for some on the edges.

and then points out further down the specs that it is 17.1" wide.
We all know that screen sizes and usually measured and quoted diagonally but this one specifically states 20" Wide  then further down the specs it states 17.1" wide.

It might just be me being picky but if it is 17" wide why not ruddy say so.

Diagonal Size = 20" colour TFT active matrix WXSGA LCD
Display Area = 17.1" horizontal x 10.7" vertical; 20.1" diagonal

I think you may of forgotten that monitors are still measured diagonally.
