How Do I Atomically Forward An Email. :(
My wife looks after the bookings for our local charity run 'village hall' .
I set up an email address a few years ago, but now we have a new secure 'mailbox' off the village hall website .
So we do not use the old email address but we keep getting some people who keep using it ( no mater how many times we ask them not to ).
I was wondering if there is a automactic way to foward the emails from the old to the new address ?.
I use ThunderBird Email browser, I cannot see any rules to do this.

Mike,
This may help:

Is the T/Bird only for the old mail box for the village hall items?
If so, there should be a Message Filter to be able to set up new Rules.

Hi Dave .
Well if I read that info on that linked site it may not be possible to do. :'(
Our family has about 10 email address's and we use ThunderBird to access all.

Just on the off-chance.
You could always setup the address in outlook/express as another email account.

A big thanks Dave.
I have it working, but I would have to have the same filter set up on each computer and for each user that can access that same two emails. (I think ! ).
It would be nice to have it mark the emails it's Forward filtered, but I cannot see any way to do that.
One problem is the new 'Mail box' is secure, we get no spam, But if I introduce emails from the old email address (That sometimes gets spam ) I will be introducing spam to that account. :'(
