I have a problem.
(At the moment I am not on the PC with the problem)
A friend of mind uses MS Outlook, mainly for the calendar etc so does not want to change.
However the problem I feel is related to the settings in accounts.
The account is Virgin.net. And the settings I used in server was, "mail.virgin.net" in both the POP and the SMTP box's
I originally set it up from my home with a Blueyonder connection and everything seemed to work with sending and receiving emails.
But for some reason it has stopped receiving emails.
So has any one any knowledge of Outlook and what settings should be in place or possibly what if any secure SSL box's should or should not be checked.
Or, a site showing details on how to set it up.

Just a long shot - maybe the inbox is full with junk and has overloaded, so have they checked the website to check?

Thanks for those, the second one is interesting as it shows a "mail. xxxxx" input
(All very confusing this POP business when you have to insert "mail" into a POP box.
But thinking about it, it was working when I left because we downloaded all the latest emails.
So possibly something simpler than the settings, which no-one would have changed.

I think you may be right, it could be an overload problem, there are possibly a couple of hundred emails on the server a lot of them also have attachments.
I'll get her to empty them out later, some of them are even a couple of years old so will not be wanted any-way.
