Title: My Dog's gone Missing!!
Post by: Accordion on August 28, 2008, 05:40:14 PM
While the carpet fitters were in and out, one of them left the door open - and Ollie has taken himself off out.
I've driven around the village three times now - he's been AWOL for four hours.

I'm a bit worried, thought he would have been back by now - for his dinner. He has got out before, but came back all on his own after a short time, never four hours.

Oh Dave, Sorry to hear that ....  can you not ring the local Police station to see if someone has found him   ?  I don't know what else to suggest apart from what you've already done   ...   I'm sure he'll be back on his own like before though .... when he's hungry ? they are creatures of habit and like timetables ... keep us informed won't you !   :(

What a relief! I've just had a call from a police lady, he's been 'arrested' just down the road from where my wife is working - he is being bailed out as I type.

Phew! (He's not going out walkies with me tonight!!)

He was worn out, not even enough energy to wag his tail when my wife got him.
He didn't want to walk back home (only five minutes) and needed a big drink.

Maybe he'll get cake, but no knife. (Cos we luvs 'im.)

Definitely in line for an ASBO I would have thought. But good to hear he's back and OK. :)

Pleased to hear it got resolved happily. Perhaps all the banging from the carpet fitters upset him, or he was trying to get a slice of that cake before that greedy devil Blue ate it all.

Glad it all ended well, what a little terror, keeping you on your toes like that...must have been awful for you Dave when you didn't know where he was.  Hope he's recovered from his ordeal now and has apologised to his "mum and dad"  ;D

He's been a bit subdued since his unauthorised adventure trip Chrissie.
Seems like he has worn himself out! Gone off his food too.

He's back to normal now - shouting at us for attention/food/walkies.
