If you put 'ZTE MC801a' into the search on CEX's website there are two different versions, one for 120 that appears to be on the '3' network and one for 145 that doesn't specify.

Sounds like it's not network locked if it works on Giffgaff, who use O2 I believe?

It's not locked, it's a brilliant price for a Snapdragon X55 5G modem, same as the iPhone 12
