Recontracted Fibre 1 with BT, generally got around 45mbps before recontract
Since recontract I'm seemingly capped at 30mbps
Prior to recontract I had this sort of thing;
Noise margin:
6.1 dB / 6.2 dB
Line attenuation:
37 dB
Signal attenuation:
23.1 dB / 37 dB
Since then I'm seeing this;
Data rate:
15.43 Mbps / 30.00 Mbps
Maximum data rate:
15552 / 46817
Noise margin:
6.1 dB / 11.5 dB
Line attenuation:
35.4 dB
Signal attenuation:
22.8 dB / 35.4 dB
Should I assume it's DLM being a jerk and focus on the fact it says a reasonable max data rate and that it should climb back up or should I start prodding BT?
Thanks for any help
edit: I don't know when they'd have applied any changes, recontract was 17th November but I've been sick with covid since, I only noticed this weekend

The fact that it is syncing at exactly 30Mbps suggests it might have got banded somehow.
The re-contract shouldn't have done that but I'd get hold of BT and ask what's going on (especially if it's below the guaranteed rate they gave you when renewing).

Checked today and it's apparently up to; Data rate: 15.63 Mbps / 40.00 Mbps so I'll sit tight and hope it ticks up a few more Mbps
Thanks for the reply, tuba
