The board features 9 wired ports and a full-sized USB 3.0. Seven of the ports are Gigabit Ethernet, another one is 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet, and the last one is a 10G SFP+ cage. All the ports are connected to a powerful Marvell Amethyst family switch-chip with a 10 Gbps full-duplex line leading to the Marvell Armada Quad-core ARMv8 1.4 GHz CPU.

That's pretty much exactly the hardware I want but not with the OS I want. :(
If only Netgate made something exactly like that, I'd snatch it off their hands, but their hardware seem grossly overpriced in comparison.

Did you order it, by any chance?
Found this in terms and conditions of the eBay seller: "Please note, duties and taxes are not included in the shipping fee. We have no way to determine if you will be charged customs/duty fees, and WE ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR IMPORT FEES."
I did order last week something from Italy and I found a 'surprise' when UPS delivered the parcel, i.e. £69 of import/duty tax (likely I was able to sent that back and got a refund).

Any imports from EU are going to attract VAT, possibly import duty and normally £10 or so fee from the carrier. I've ordered from EuroDK in the past, but that was while we were in the EU. Strictly they shouldn't be charging Lavian VAT though.

It should be possible on the 5009.

You have 24V on the DC jack, 48V on the 2-pin connector, and 57V on the PoE-in. So what exactly happens if there is a problem with one of your power sources? The board itself gets powered by the highest voltage input – the PoE-in. If there’s a problem, RB5009 will fall back to the second highest voltage - the 2-pin connector. And if that fails – there’s the 24V option on the DC jack. PoE-out devices will draw power from the 48V source on the 2-pin connector. If that fails – the 24V on the DC jack will be used. The board will always reserve 20 watts to power itself. If there is not enough power for all the PoE-out ports, it will start disabling the ones with the lowest priority, which you can set manually.
