Just very recently I have found my Windows version is unable to get the IP address. Anyone any idea why this might be?

That’s just happened to me on two Ubuntu clients running dsl stats. Don’t think it actually effects anything, and knowing Eric isn’t able to support it, I ignored

I know, I'm just wondering what it uses to check? If I know I might be able to use hosts to redirect.

Same here, but thought it had been mentioned before?

I've had the same experience. It works by running a small script on my DSLstats website, and nothing has changed there recently. I suspect it might be something to do with having IPv6 enabled as the default in my browser. As g3uiss said, it doesn't affect anything else in DSLstats, so it's just a tiny irritation.
