If the 5G broadband is available, you never own the 5g router and have to give it back at the end of the contract.

Black Friday special?

Nothing to stop you putting the 4g SIM in a 5g router

The Hauwei CPE Pro 2 5G routers are actually readily available from CEX from people who for some reason were able to keep theirs.  There seems to be some confusion about if you keep it at the end or not now and if you are charged a fee or not for doing so.

For £210 they're a steal compared to how much they're going for brand new lately.  I ordered a B Grade but seemed to send an A as it was boxed complete in better condition than the unlocked one I bought from Amazon, as I seem to have scuffed it moving it around.

This contract comes with the ZTE MF286R

There are claims it's a CAT12 device, though reports suggest it performs worse than the B535 CAT7 router.

Ouch, that's bad seeing as I get 20Mbit more out of the H122 vs the B353 on 4G.
