Title: Kitz forum post-editing; action buttons in iOS 15 Safari
Post by: Weaver on October 09, 2021, 01:19:42 PM
Is it just me? The ‘post’ and ‘preview’ buttons shown when you are editing a post, for example in this website in iOS Safari 15 are now very difficult to read, they’re black text on deep blue. White text would be much better.

Also the action button beside the ‘search’ text-entry control is another example of the same.

They and other controls also have rounded corners, is that something new?

There has been no change at the site . . . It must, therefore, be something local to you.

On the Firefox browser I'm on now the Post and Preview buttons have black text on a light grey background. I'm pretty that's the same on Chrome too.

@burakkucat - Indeed, agreed. I wonder if it is to do with CSS defaults; perhaps the defaults have changed in Safari iPadOS 15. Is there a way of overriding the defaults for buttons with appropriate explicit values?
