Title: Anyone know about this cheap for Zyxel router?
Post by: renluop on September 23, 2021, 10:55:54 AM
 nbg6604-gb0101f (https://www.broadbandbuyer.com/products/31250-zyxel-nbg6604-gb0101f/?gclid=CjwKCAjwy7CKBhBMEiwA0Eb7am8dNTXgjEOvjELUFwNDnVNuLRwvhkkbFCFgiZ_75tQqQztsAx3iHRoC-PsQAvD_BwEl)

Could it be worth my consideration, should I need a replacement for my VMG8924; what chip is in it etc?

It's a router only, there is no modem chip in it. just a WAN connection to a separate modem. So not what you are looking for.

it's a simple mediatek cable router with fast ethernet ports according to techinfodepot http://en.techinfodepot.shoutwiki.com/wiki/ZyXEL_NBG6604 and deviwiki https://deviwiki.com/wiki/ZyXEL_NBG6604

best avoided

Thanks! I sort of knew the price was too cheap for a Zyxel.
