£20 for 2Mbit on 5G?  Have they missed a zero off that or what?

They honestly shouldn't be selling less than 20Mbit IMO, especially when its an "up to" so could be much slower.

This is the new Vodafone partnership, the prices may look familiar if you look at Vodafone:

Ah, I see. Thank you.  :)

I was just working on the type-face and style of the advertisement you showed in your opening post.

Possibly, it's the £30 for 150Mbit that appeals, that's £5 cheaper than Voxi, Giffgaff.

Voxi do periodically run offers though, got mine for £30 as long as I stay subscribed.  Plus AFAIK they do not limit the speed, I can get 120Mbit on 4G never mind 5G. (though I have no 5G equipment, no plans to leave the house any time soon and the local tower isn't 5G)

It's hard to think of what sort of user would want unlimited data but be happy with only 2meg.  Maybe for an IP camera streaming not too high quality 24/7?

As of the 3rd November, these are half price until 19th February 2022

Anyone else read this as the speed cap is only on 5g?

It certainly reads that way, but it doesn't make sense - it implies that someone using a 4G device would get unlimited speeds, but if you change to 5G, you're limited to 2Mbits/s ?

Maybe it just means you're unlikely to get those speeds if you're not using 5G...

That's the way I'm reading it so I think the cap is irrespective of 3G/4G/5G.
