I was on my way to work this morning and I spotted a CityFibre van parked on the side of the road today and just across the road from it I see a lot of what appears to be workers with green vests on standing next to some dug up road.
Looks like they're in the process of installing fibre (safe assumption?).
I took a quick flyby picture of the van :-[

You should be more careful! You could kill someone using your phone while walking!
Anything on one.network (https://one.network/)?

Yes!
Works in progress apparently

Details are scarce. one.network no longer gives a works description then it seems?

Sorry to revive my old post but seemed better rather than opening another one!
So they're even closer to my house, spotted them again 5 minutes walk from my house!
one.network says Work in progress
I've asked Zen to contact me as soon as i'm able to order, knowing CityFibre it wont take them long to finish building

I'm also watching one.network with curiosity seeing as Openreach and CityFibre are working in the area.
CityFibre are still only the other side of the exchange from me so a good 2-3km away, but that makes sense as that is the area they did FTTC so the easiest place to do first.
Its kinda easy to see what CityFibre are doing though, considering their reference has FTTH in it. I think you might even be able to spot the PON they are doing.
Over the last 7 days I've seen:
KG022SHF-FTTH-PN155D
KG022SHF-FTTH-PN155-07
KG022SHF-FTTH-PN156-05

Openreach are a complete mystery however with their codes:

Sadly works descriptions are mostly unavailable to general public now, apparently due to 'Department for Transport data processing policies'. I miss seeing that information as well.
That said, it sounds likely they are busy rolling out FTTP there. To compare, one of the references near where I am is 'KG042EAS-FTTH-PN651-07' and I know they have planned to rollout FTTP to most of the area, so I would say it's the same for that area.

Seems location dependent, Leicester one.network shows the entity doing the roadworks so i can track cityfibre in Leicester.
They appeared very close a couple weeks back but for me sadly they are now going in the other direction, if they go right to edge of Birstall, then move round from there I might be a fair way away,
