Woke up to no internet this morning. Checked the modem stats and seemed to have lost 30Mb/s off the downstream. Was syncing around 70/16.

Can see that the modem has resynced 12 times this morning. The SNR margin also seems to be fluctuating from 6-13dB.

Would it be worth trying a manual resync? I can also check for noise on the line with a phone (don't have one plugged in at the moment) whilst I'm at it.
Edit: Just turned off the modem and plugged in a phone. I’m using a faceplate that only has the BT phone socket, then a BT to RJ11 cable. There was no pops or crackles that I could hear.
Edit 2: Doing a manual resync (usual 30 mins off) has returned the sync back to normal. Seems strange? I'd expect DLM to intervene in the early hours of tomorrow but it's odd that it didn't after 12 resyncs.

It's a mystery. :-\
I have trouble understanding the statistics output by Draytek devices and cannot see anything obvious in that which you have shown.

The only thing I can possibly think of, is that I changed the firmware to the alternative one that Draytek provide for the Vigor 130, 3.8.4.1_m8. I did that 3 weeks ago though and it seems stable. Get less errors and a higher sync speed. :shrug2: I'll have to keep an eye on it.

A response in two parts . . . (1) That's good to know. (2) Yes, discrete observation my help to explain the situation.

As I expected, DLM intervened in the early hours of the morning and stuck interleaving on both downstream and upstream.

Thank you for the update.

Upstream interleaving was removed early this morning. Just got to wait for the interleaving on the downstream to go now.

Had another resync earlier on, not sure why as nothing had changed as far as I could see. Not wanting to risk there perhaps being an issue with the Draytek, I've gone back to using a Zyxel 1312-B10A. Mainly so I can monitor a bit more in depth with DSLStats.

Noticed that the interleave depth is higher with the Zyxel. 1309 vs 872 with the Draytek.

Just to update, interleaving was removed in the early hours of this morning.
