Title: USB & Parallel Port only printer?

I have an old Brother HL-1030 which only has a parallel port and of course my PCs don't have parallel ports.

It's not worth spending much on it, but I'm wondering if I can get it working via a USB-> parallel cable.

Has anyone any experience of using these?

In theory it should, although you might fall foul of there not being drivers for modern Windows.
