Some of my vices include good beer, hi-fi, cars and of course computers. Animals don’t count as a ‘vice’, but I’m mad on animals. What are your vices?
-
Two, that I can think of, that I am willing to admit...
1. Checking out on Amazon, buying stuff for myself, I always tick the box ‘this is a gift’. I then get a little paper slip in the box saying “enjoy your gift.”
2. I buy, and eat, excessive amounts of cauliflower.

I have Six vices, 5 of them made by 'Record', two x 4", One 8", I have my Dads vice that must be from the 1940's and still works well, one is only about 2", think I have a 1" one somewhere, it could be a jewelers vice or model makers vice. ;D
Edit... Got a Woodworkers vice as well ;D

Cars would be high on my list as well as Good wine and good real ale (beer).
Making things, as well as building our house and all the out buildings I am making some insulated garage doors now.
Suppose I could say I like a nice long drive and then a good walk as well each Sunday.

One of my vices is (seriously) etymology. I hardly ever think about any question without asking how the words in it came about.
(There are 3 etymologies of "vice" on wikepedia.)
As for the sense "fault or blemish", the little toe on my right foot has a disturbingly satanic horn-like nail.
Otherwise, I've never had a thought in my life that was less than entirely decorous or charming.
-
Etymology is absolutely one of my vices too; I’m just like 22over7 - always inside wiktionary
-
Etymology :hmm: Had to 'Google' It .
-
And I will have to look up the etymology of ‘etymology’ too now. ;D

Mee too :D
I would normally say a glass or 2 of wine. But I've been unable to drink since April due to illness so my substitute has been ginger beer or coke.
Hopefully after I;ve had surgery and in the NY I will be able to enjoy a nice glass of rose again. :congrats:
