I found that the chipset used in the router is BCM63167 followed by some letters starting with UKxxxxx by looking up for info about this BCM google shows did you mean BCM63168 :hmm: so there must be info on Broadcom,, well the result is :wall:
The question is What is a Mahna Mahna BCM63167?
Following a picture from inside the router, I tried to capture the BCM model but it is just so small writing that I can see only super closely from a certain angle, also ready to give further details from inside.

I downloaded a copy of the image and tried enhancing it, removing all colour and turning it into a negative image. Zooming in on the main chip, all I can see is the Broadcom logo.
Perhaps you could remove all the adhesive residues with some form of organic solvent and then, with a light source almost at right-angles to the top surface of the chip, examine it under high magnification?

There are plenty of references online to modems using the BCM63167, but no datasheet etc available that I can see. I wonder if it is available to OEMs only?

Thanks for pointing to this possibility, but for ex. VR600 it uses Broadcom BCM63168 *according to whirlpool forum* so what is the difference between this one and the VR400,, as most of TP-link routers chipset models are known and information is available on Broadcom website. I got my doubts that this chipset is not even original broadcom one :shrug2:

This is how it looks inside, from my experience with many modems/routers all splitters looks almost the same inside even the ones labeled ADSL looks very similar.

AFAIK a DSL filter at a basic level is only intended to isolate the voice frequencies, you don't need anything more than that regardless of the DSL version in use.
The only difference now is some attempt to limit REIN by filtering the DSL frequencies, but that will always come at the cost of adding some attenuation, reducing your speed unless you actually need that filtering for stability.
