Title: Cats. What squeezed all the gratitude out of them?

Why is it that cats so often look terminally p'd off? Are they superior beings?

My two boys are both on my lap as I lie in bed. Very heavy and toasty - no longer kittens.

A common misconception, can't don't go "Meow", they actually say "NOW!".
