Hi

Have you got Fast User Switching enabled?

Control Panel >>
Admin Tools >>
Services >>
Fast User Switching.

Also Check

Control Panel >>
User Accounts >>
Change the way users log on or off >>
Use Fast User Switching >> tick this
Use the Welcome screen >> tick this

Check what software the user is running in the background which might be messing you about when they log off (e.g. on the taskbar etc).

Also you might want to try the "user hive cleanup service" or similar from the Microsoft Download site. This seems to cure some log off problems.

Ah, the old UPHClean - yes I have this deployed where I work... helps with loads of logoff matters.

In fact, it really should have been part of Windows by now, it's been around for long enough!

No probs, glad it has solved your prob. I used to have painfully slow or "stuck" logoffs and it fixed that for me.
