Apologies for the site being down overnight.
As yet i havent been given a full explanation by my webhosts other than it was a network issue affecting their CPanel servers. I did contact them last night only to be told they were undertaking routine maintenance. However by about midnight i began to suspect it was something more as I still had access to the server for other things aside from web (http). I tried restarting various services such as Apache without success and escalated the fault adding my own findings.
I was also trying to provide any updates via the facebook page https://www.facebook.com/Kitz.co.uk/ which i use for any status notices.
Because i still had access to other services, it was clear that web traffic started to die sometime around 8:30pm. The only info i have so far for the outage reason is below
We are currently investigating an issue with some of our cPanel servers (shared, VPS and DS). The sites hosted on these servers are timing out and not responding. We will keep you updated with more information!
Please excuse us for the caused inconvenience so far!
Update
It appears that the issue is network related and we are working on resolving it as soon as possible. Thank you for the understanding!
Thank you those who attempted to notify me that there was an issue... and thanks for your patience and understanding.

PS a note was also appended to last nights escalation.
Apologies for the delay and thank you for your patience.
We are currently working on resolving the issue and have raised a status page on the matter.
There appear to be some networking issues after yesterday's maintenance and I can assure you that we are working on them with high priority.
Let us know if you still face any issues after the issue is resolved on our status page, so that we can investigate further.
