Title: Is VMG132-B30A suitable for UK lines ?
Post by: hushcoden on March 29, 2020, 10:34:42 AM
Sorry if it's a dumb question, but if I use a DSL cable RJ45 <--> RJ11, would a VMG1312-B30A work with UK lines  ?

If you have a NTE5 pre-filtered socket then yes.

Modem (RJ11) -> Phone socket (RJ45)

It's how I run on my connection.

Not sure for micro-filters though them little splitter boxes.

Are you sure you have the B30A version as that is for ISDN lines so will not work with ADSL or VDSL.
You need the B10A version if you are planning to use it on a standard UK line.

Is it definitely the B30A or has it been mis-described, as I would have thought the B30A was quite a rare thing in this country?

I'd say so as seller put this in the description: VMG1312-B30A-DE01V1F
