Title: windows 10 proxy settings

I just want to what kind of settings i need to use for proxy? Should i turn on auto detect settings or not?
Automatically detect settings was on before i think by default.
What are the pros and cons of using these built in widows 10 settings.

Post by: Alex Atkin UK on March 05, 2020, 12:50:13 AM: I believe Auto Detect is for when you only have Internet access via a proxy. If you have a normal gateway, auto detect will always use that.

I have no idea how it works, never known anyone use it.

from local ISP. I dont know it is via proxy server but is there any security risks with these options on or off

it is still going over my head. like a vpn? please explain it in simple terms

For facebook read a multitude of forbidden sites.
