which of these 2 chipsets have better vdsl performance
BCM63381 600MHZ dual core BMIPS4350
BCM63168 400MHZ dual core MIPS

The 3rd number that I put in bold above being a 3 usually indicates it's a cheaper chipset.

The BCM63168 actually performs better on my line than newer BCM63138.

Post by: mofa2020 on February 13, 2020, 06:38:15 PM: OMG!! sorry I do not know how I saw it as BCM63138 instead of BCM63168, I have the tp-link vr400 v2 which has BCM63168 according to Whirlpool and the performance sucks for some reason.

Ditto. The BCM63138 may be higher spec but my line prefers the BCM63168 too. I don't know if this is down to the chip or the firmware.
