As mentioned in an earlier thread, can anyone tell me what a ‘port flex’ is?
-
Hi
You could Google it, I did "Openreach port flex" and found a forum post from 2011.

It just appears to be resetting the port so it starts retraining, nothing unusual, just different terminology used.
Regards
Phil

Openreach are so un-British, should be called a "kick up the arse".

 .......... which is exactly what a 'port flex' is ....... it's like performing a hard-reset on the router.

I did google it but got lost in a maze of twisty passages, I tried ‘BT port flex’. Philip’s suggestion of using the word Openreach instead was the key, clearly the right idea. I don’t know why, but the pregabalin and fentanyl seem to disable my ability to google, it’s one of my biggest problems.

I suppose that's a new way to proposition someone.
'Hey Baby, want me to flex your port'? :silly:
