Title: DSLstats: alerts with Gmail

I have configured DSLstats as follows:

I then received an email from Gmail saying I was just trying to access my account securely. It suggested the only way around this was to enable access for insecure apps, is this correct?

Yes, it appears to be a deficiency of Google Mail.

They tend to give that warning message whenever you use smtp :/
