I'm on an ECI cab and usually have an ECI modem connected, I switched from BT to PlusNet and would normally have speeds of around 74Mbs. After the switch, it dropped down to 62Mbs and my ping has gone from about 11ms to 38 - 60ms. I plugged my unlocked hg612 back in to see what is happening and noticed my DS Interleaving depth is at 1361 max attainable rate is in over 80Mb but I'm only syncing at 69Mbs. Any ideas whats happened?

I've just learnt something from kitz. It looks like your line is in the same situation. :no:

@enginerd
I don't think it is a profile problem like dorzb had. It is just that the provider change has caused a DLM reset so the line has gone to interleaved. In this condition the max attainable is over estimated. If you are lucky the line should go back to fast path in a while, days or weeks, who knows. :) If it doesn't you could try capping the download speed temporarily using the correct modem command, its in some posts on the forum.

The vast majority of users who switch ISP will have an immediate increase in ping/latency with a decrease in speed.
When you switch ISP the DLM (Dynamic Line Management) resets. This enables Interleaving which increases ping by 8ms.
Interleaving also takes roughly 10% of the sync speed.
If the line remains stable this will return as Interleaving will be removed.
The ISP has zero say in this. It happens with most migrations.
The ISP has zero control of the DLM.
