An egg has been laid. :)

Earlier today, via the overhead view camera, a fluffy white huddle of at least two hatchlings were seen --

Certainly. Camera 1 (https://hawkandowltrust.org/index.php/web-cam-live/norwich-cathedral-side) (side) and Camera 2 (https://hawkandowltrust.org/index.php/web-cam-live/norwich-oh) (overhead).

Are there two? Or are there three?
-
Three hungry hatchlings were being fed bits of dismantled bird --
-
Where is the male ? Does he also participate in feeding the younglings?
I read that some are monogamous, same partner for life. I also read that they mate in the air, is that really true?
-
I believe that both parents take turns in keeping the eggs warm and, once hatched, bringing food for & feeding the young.
As for the mating process, I do not know. I've certainly never witnessed any such activity.

I have seen it happen on the 'scrape' (nest) on one of the webcams once.
-
The three young are now just given some food and then left to eat it, in their own time.
-
The Norwich three are not so quite advanced as their Nottingham cousins . . .
-
One "egg" has flown, the other two will soon follow . . .
