Last week we revealed that UK ISP Sky Broadband and Sky TV were set to increase their prices from the 1st April 2019, but at the time we didn’t know the details. Sky has today published this detail, which for example confirms that their FTTC “fibre broadband” packages will increase by +£2 monthly.

As of 1st April 2019 Sky is increasing a number of its out of contract product prices including broadband packages, call bundles and satellite TV packages.

It feels to me that Sky and others put up their price just because its the thing to do. I thought OR had lowered the prices it sells its services to the ISP's in order to encourage more sales? While the ISP's aren't lowering the prices to reflect that saving but are putting them up! What extra is Sky and other ISP's doing to justify the price increase?

Guess who's going to be paying for the automatic compensation.
