of the Archer VR2800 router but I can't find
the setting in the settings to do this.
can anyone help me out?
which menu option is it on/under?

Did you look at the user guide? It should be in the Appendix:Troubleshooting section, i.e. T5. How do I clone a MAC address?

Just for my curiosity, why do you need to spoof the MAC address?
Are you on the UK?

Thanks for the tip hushcoden.
I have had a quick look.
I take it I need to click on advanced>Network>Internet
and on the internet connection page click on add and scroll
down to the bottom of the page and click on custom MAC address
then enter mine and save it. then re boot the router and the MAC address
of the router will be the one I entered .Is that how it should work ??

Hi John .There are many reasons you may want to spoof clone MAC address.
Take a look at what hushcoden said .Troubleshooting page in the manual explains it.
