Reached my limit last week, pain off the scale, terror, fever, low body temp 35C, cold sweat. Decided that enough was enough, and that it had to end if no chance of pain control. Saw doctor on wed at house, who had some ideas about changing things. I was diagnosed some years ago with CFS/ME, chronic pain syndrome, small-fibre neuropathy [?], duodenal polyp too. Upped pregabalin massively last week wth superb effect, made it much more regular, trying to talk them into upping it further, to what it used to be some years ago. They want to change duloxetin to something else tbs and start me on Oramorph, couldn’t understand why I wasn’t getting it already.

As a fellow sufferer with CFS/ME (first experienced in the summer of 1976, "the year of the drought") and neuropathy (after a spinal operation in 2005) I certainly know how much you must be suffering. :(
