Title: Quick question about DLM
Post by: broadstairs on January 20, 2019, 05:15:13 PM
It may be clear somewhere but have not found my answer. Does DLM use the total ES count for both up and downstream or just downstream?

It uses the downstream ES for the downstream, and the upstream ES for the upstream.

High ES on the upstream would see interleaving or G.INP enabled on the upstream, and the same for the downstream.

So definitely not bundled together.

As j0hn said, they are treated separately.

If you exceed the MTBE threshold for downstream then that will trigger ILQ status Red.  If you exceed the MTBE upstream, then that will trigger ILQ status Scarlet.   DLM will take appropriate steps only on the respective down/up stream.
