I was delighted to see that we had five cats in the bedroom in the early hours of this morning. Thomas doesn’t dare to come near the bedroom - there would be an enormous fight. Buidheag is asleep curled up in a furry, lined platform, shaped like a Yorkshire pudding, which is attached to the huge floor-to-ceiling cat pole. The other four cats are on the bed. Beileag is curled up in a ball by Janet’s feet, and all three orientals in a tight bundle by my shoulder, between the two humans. Very pleasing sight.
