Title: Wife asked me a question!
Post by: renluop on November 06, 2018, 01:44:14 PM
Yes, ME! ::)
She had seen some entries on the accounts of an organisation she belongs to
Code: [Select]
Optimizers domain fee
Optimizers domain hosting fee
and what they meant.
Thing is I couldn't be sure whether Optimizers was a title, generic for the type work done or the host. Ideas?

Out of pure idle curiosity I found one of the many IP addresses in Message Source: 88-109-26-103.dynamic.dsl.as9105.com came up as
Code: [Select]
not recognized as an internal or external command,
operable program or batch file
, when I tracerted it.

I know nothing evil is afoot, but I don't understand why that happened.

dynamic.dsl.as9105.com is a Tiscali (now Talktalk) IP.

Looks like it's a dynamic IP from a DSL line. Just a guess though  :P

Since "domain fee" would infer the cost for the internet domain name and  "domain hosting fee" being web hosting fees.
I would imagine that Optimizer would either be the web hosts... or more likely the type of webhost package they have purchased.

Google found the following which supports that theory (there are others).
