Title: ZyXEL VMG 3925-B10B vs VMG 1312-B10A
Post by: Weaver on September 29, 2018, 06:22:18 PM
How does the 3925-B10B compare in terms of modem performance, does anyone know ? I have heard tell of an input filter and high quality analog front end on the 1312-B10A. Does anyone have any thing to contribute about this, or know any details? Does the 3925-B10B have the same high quality front end?

I can probably answer this in a few days given I've now bought one of each.

3925 performs less well on my line than the 1312. Few meg sync less with the 3925, as for the inline analogue filter on the 3925 I dont know. Presumably not as it performs less well.

I wonder if the 3925-B10B could fairly be compared with the 1312-B10D perhaps then?

I will try both on my lines and see what the results are.

No doubt other 1312's will pop up if I confirm they are the superior model.

I posted on this subject last week.

The 3925-B10B does not have the additional noise filter
The 3926-B10A does have it.
