I certainly don’t do twitter. To this day, I have not the slightest idea what it does, other than broadcasting to the world what I had for dinner. :-\
I do have a FB account, but it is totally locked down and hopefully invisible to public, and contains no actual data about me, other than my name and an email address. I set it up out of necessity, to participate in a reunion of old colleagues. Their T&C fills me with too much dread, to actually tell them anything whatsoever about myself. :'(

I think breaches like these using Facebook and twitter accounts have a greater impact when you consider the number of websites which use single sign on by using Facebook or Twitter accounts.
We certainly do not/have activated single sign on on any of our platforms.
The single sign on is used on some billing platforms if activated, which never appear to be mentioned

It is a long time since I looked at Facebook’s T&C.
But as regards other services that utilise FB signon, I would imagine one of two things will appear in the T&C (my translation)...
Either
1) Facebook will accept full and unlimited liability for losses, both morally and legally, incurred by 3rd party sign ins.
Or
2) Facebook will dodge any liability whatsover, using wide-boy attorneys who act just within the law.
My money is on (2). :D
