It seems the boys are getting along rather better.

Now dear old Orange aka Tiddy Puss is gone, who was alpha male and defender of the house even though hw was very thin and weak, there are fewer fights standoff’s and spitting matches. Tom does get trapped sometimes though, especially in the way out, and doesn’t know what to do. But the others are starting to just ignore him or fail to notice him intentional or unintentionally.

It is almost like one of those puzzle-pictures where one is asked "How many cats can you see in this kitchen?"
It is only when you discovered the butter is nice and smooth that you understand why the cat was sitting on top of the refrigerator! :D

Actually I am told that Pangur Bàn was in that scene, up on the very very high shelf near the ceiling to the left of the rayburn, which is used for storing cats. I don't think he is visible though. unlike all of our previous cats, the two young boys have not managed to jump up there on their own, they look at Janet and ask to be given a lift up. They can jump down fine, onto a solid wooden chair
