The kittens are going bonkers because there is a daddy-long-legs on the ceiling, stuck in the remnants of a spider's web. Straining their necks and bending their heads back to look straight above themselves. Pangur Bàn came up with a solution to the neck-strain. There is a huge mirror on the wall and he started looking at the other daddy-long-legs in the mirror instead, so now at a comfortable angle. Intelligent kitten. Somhairle has not got this yet and keeps having a look, then a rest from the neck strain and then walks around and tries looking from a different position. Now the kittens are sitting on my knee as I lie in bed, still enjoying an excellent vantage point where they can keep an eye on the tasty critter. Soon it will be sleepy time.
