Title: SNR acting very strange today
Post by: adslmax on July 20, 2018, 02:56:13 PM
I have noticed that my FTTC SNR has acting so weird today. It's been steady at 6dB since 1st February DLM resetted by PN until today it went from 6.0dB to 7.9dB every minutes just after 2pm. So, I went for a little walk to see what is the hell going on at the cabinet. There is appear two engineers working on my cabinet both pcp and FTTC.

Should I be more worrying about SNR playing up and down could caused DLM act?

I wouldn't say that's significant enough to worry about. It's not a massive fluctuation, once they finish working at the PCP then I imagine that should ideally stop happening.

The engineers has now gone. The SNR is now steady back to 6dB. :)
