There has been many a 24-hour-increment when the grumpy old kuro neko has intended to find his sleepy-spot by 0000 hours but then has been distracted by something of interest.  ::)

I too can get distracted, but also I think there are a few of us who do suffer from chronic pain which mean that we get little sleep.  :(
