I am trying to download this file (http://www.smo.uhi.ac.uk/gaidhlig/wentworth/faclair/dualchainnt/) which is a Microsoft Word document from a web server and I have tried on two different web browsers in my iPad with no success. Safari takes for ever and then comes up with some strange error messages before just giving up and giving me nothing. I then tried the web browser iCab on my iPad and that took forever before crashing spectacularly.
Could anyone be so kind as to download it for me and then perhaps zip it up and get it to me somehow. [?] I am not sure how. Could perhaps email a zip file to me. Or upload it to somewhere. I think it is about 17MB but I can’t remember so that might be wrong.
Recall that all I have is an iPad just now - no Windows or *nix PC or Mac, before someone suggests that.
My wife might have the iOS version of so-called ‘Chrome’ on her iPad so I will get her to try.

Spring, thanks for your help. That first url was unusable: it led to with a web page telling me to download some app that I have never heard of. I don't know what the second url was all about. Did you manage to download the file ok?
If someone manages to download it, zip it up and email it to <redacted>
